Hi! I’m Lauren.

Welcome to My Beautiful Everyday!  Here you will find a blog dedicated to art, crafts, DIY, and photography.  I am a former art teacher, married to my high school sweetheart, and am now a homeschooling mama to my four kids  (Luke 9, Audra 6, Caleb 3, and Malia 2).  My family inspires me daily and most of what I post is connected to them in one way or another.

I love being creative and have found that even though I am super busy everyday with normal “mom stuff”, I shouldn’t let that hinder my creativity; instead, I should use this stage of my life as a springboard for even more creative ventures.  I hope to use this blog to inspire others to be creative, no matter what stage of life they are in.

My favorite art mediums are painting and drawing, however I was recently surprised by my husband with my very first DSLR camera.  All I can say is… I AM IN LOVE!  Here at My Beautiful Everyday I hope to also allow you to come along with me in my newfound love for photography and learn with me about how to grow as a photographer.  Each day is a beautiful gift of God’s grace.  It is my desire to use photography and other art mediums to display that which is beautiful in my everyday life.  I hope to inspire you to see the beauty in your everyday as well.
